The Dance Studio (TDS) was founded by Director, Fredrick Moodie, in 1984. Located in Cleveland Heights, TDS is the largest African American dance studio in the Greater Cleveland area, offering dance instruction at its main office as well as at area daycares and recreational facilities.
The mission of The Dance Studio is to provide a multicultural dance experience to the Heights area and surrounding communities. Our vision is to bring together people of all ages, races, and genders who share a common love for dance and an extreme desire to perpetuate the love and the artform itself to generations to come.
